The Academy
The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy was found in 1939 by the Soviet Union and was regarded as one of the best medical school in the region. The academy is included in the World Directory of the Medical Schools and is recognized by several international medical organizations. The Academy has seven faculties and about 7000 including about 1000 international students. The Academy has an Anatomy Museum of international reputation which was develop with collaboration of German Anatomists. The Academy is the oldest medical school in the republic. KSMA has bilateral relationship with many medical schools around the globe.
